Malabar Oxygen Company Private Limited (MOCPL) was incorporated on 27th March 1984 under the Companies Act, 1936. It has its Registered Office at Meera Classic Phase II, Borda, Gogol. Margao – 403602, Goa.
The Company commenced its business operations on 18th October 1985 from its plant set up at Baikampady Mangalore.
Malabar Oxygen Company Private Limited has its manufacturing facility at Plot No 189B, Baikampady Industrial Area, Baikampady Mangalore. The manufacturing facility consists of:-
- An Air Separation Plant producing Industrial oxygen & Medical Oxygen in gas form and nitrogen in liquid and gas form. This facility was the first to be set up as part of Baikampady unit.
- A Liquid Oxygen filling facility in the form of Cryogenic Liquid Oxygen Storage Tanks for filling Medical Oxygen cylinders is also functional. This facility was set up at Baikampady unit.
- A Nitrous Oxide Manufacturing Plant producing Nitrous Oxide Gas was also set up and is also operational at the Baikampady unit.
Malabar Oxygen Company Private Limited’s Harihar unit, set up in the year 2011, at Plot Nos. 18, 22 & SPL – 17, KSSIDC Ltd. Industrial Estate, Yantrapura Post, Harihar.
- A Medical & Industrial Oxygen filing facility is operational currently at Harihar unit.
- A Mixture Gas Production facility is in the advanced project planning stage and will come up shortly and be part of Harihar unit.
Our client base includes several renowned Hospitals, Industries and Manufacturing Units, Indian Railways, other well know Public Sector Undertakings etc in and around Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Districts and several Government Hospitals and private industries in Davangere and Chitradurga Districts.

VISION
Mr. Gautam Vithaldas Pai Kakode, a visionary in his own right, the current director in-charge was ably trained in the nuances of Industrial & Medical Oxygen Business by his illustrious father-in-law late Mr. Madhav G Poy Raiturcar, considered a doyen of the Industrial and Medical gas industry.
From a humble beginning, the Company has become a very well know name for the supply of quality products and efficient & timely service to customers at reasonable prices. The Company has achieved a balanced growth since incorporation.
The Company has also spread its wings into the manufacture of a very niche product viz Nitrous Oxide Gas which is required by the medical profession for performing surgeries.
Mr. Kakode with a vision to make the Company spread its wings outside of Mangalore and its adjoining districts has invested in an Industrial Land and had put up all the civil and mechanical infrastructure for a Industrial & Medical Gas cylinder filling facility in Harihar, Davangere District . This facility is fully operational and is being further expanded by installation of additional Vacuum Insulated Storage Tank for liquid oxygen.

Our Directors
Mr. Motilal Sanvlo Keny (DIN: 06813111) retired as Justice of Bombay High Court. Since his retirement he has also held position of Goa State Chief Information Commissioner. He is lending a helping hand in upgrading the Compliance levels and legal systems of the Company.
Mrs. Yogita Gautam Pai Kakode (DIN: 01587954), wife of Mr. Gautam Vithaldas Pai Kakode, and daughter of late Mr. Madhav G Poy Raiturcar, a business person in her own right, has been lending a helping hand in shoring up the Company’s Administrative capabilities.
Mr. Gautam Vithaldas Pai Kakode (DIN: 02395512), son of late Mr. Vithaldas Y Pai Kakode, a visionary in his own right, took over the reins of the company from his illustrious father-in-law late Mr. Madhav G Poy Raiturcar, considered a doyen of the Industrial and Medical gas industry in India.

Company’s production facilities are spread across two sites viz Baikampady Industrial Area, Baikampady, Mangalore and KIADB Industrial Estate, Yantrapura, Harihar.

- Air Separation Plant
A state of the art air separation plant capable of producing Medical and Industrial Oxygen & Liquid and Gaseous Nitrogen on a continuous basis has been set up and is currently functional at our Baikampady Unit. This plant has the capacity to produce 2400 cubic meters of high purity gaseous products.
- Liquid Oxygen Filling Plant
Two cryogenic tanks of bulk capacity has been set up and is connected to high speed atmospheric vaporizers and manifolds to enable filling of medical gas cylinders rapidly using 2 pumps of 200 and 250 cubic meter per hour respectively. This plant has been set up and is currently functional at our Baikampady Unit.

Nitrous Oxide Manufacturing Plant
A state of the art nitrous oxide manufacturing plant capable of producing 270 kilo liters of nitrous oxide liquid per day has been set up and is currently operational at our Baikampady Unit.
Harihar Unit ( Oxygen Plant )
- Liquid Oxygen Filling Plant
Two cryogenic tanks of bulk capacity has been set up and is connected to high speed atmospheric vaporizers and manifolds to enable filling of medical gas cylinders rapidly using a pump of 200 cubic meter per hour capacity. This plant has been set up and is currently functional at our Harihar Unit.
- Mixture Gases Plant
A state of the art mixture gases manufacturing plant is in the advance project planning stage and will be set up at our Harihar Unit. This plant will consist of several cryogenic storage tanks of appropriate sizes, atmospheric vaporizers, separate manifolds for various mixture gases, regulators, state of the art laboratory equipments and gas spectrum analysers. This unit when commissioned will be capable of producing Argon Carbon Dioxide mixture, Argon Nitrogen Mixture, Argon Oxygen Mixture and other mixture combinations of gases.
